One slot, clearly labelled

Sponsorship

MonitoringCost.com accepts a single sponsor. The sponsorship is one clearly labelled strip, reading "Independent research, supported by X", and it is exclusive to the sponsor's category. Everything editorial sits behind a line the sponsorship cannot cross.

The hard rule

Vendors this site evaluates are not eligible to sponsor it. Adjacent categories are open. And wherever the sponsor comes from, the strip never appears on pages covering the sponsor's own products or its category competitors.

Never for sale

  • RankingsSponsors have no influence on where a vendor sits in a table.
  • Comparison outcomesHead-to-head verdicts follow the maths, not the funding.
  • Calculator placementVendors appear in the calculator because readers price them, for no other reason.
  • Verification stampsVendor verification is free for every vendor, sponsor or not.
  • Editorial influenceThe sponsor sees published pages at the same moment readers do. No preview, no veto.

The vendor verification protocol, including why it is free and cannot be bought, is documented on the methodology page.

What the sponsor receives

Disclosure is part of the product, not a concession. Sponsor links carry rel="sponsored", and the labelling is plain language a reader understands at a glance.

Founding rate

Early sponsors lock a founding rate that holds as the site grows. We do not publish pricing; terms are agreed directly.

Write to us with who you are and your category. Not sure your category qualifies? Ask anyway. If this site is not the fit, another in the network usually is.
